Hope your having a beautiful long weekend. With Winter comes the cold & flu season so it's the perfect time to start eating cleaner, getting plenty of sleep in, and most importantly get more exercise! I'm definitely feeling the Winter chill at the moment, so it's probably the best time to slurp down an immunity body booster, packed full of delicious vitamins & minerals - I can promise, you'll feel like a million bucks after drinking this yummy recipe I found on Pinterest.
What you'll need:
+ handful of organic mint
+ lots of organic kale (a little more than half a bunch)
+ banana
+ tablespoon or so of organic raw coconut butter
+ ice & water (to the consistency you like- I prefer my smoothies super, super thin- like juice so I do a lot of filtered water)
+ camu powder (for immunity)
Put all ingredients into a vitamix or blender. Blend until smooth. Drink it while it's really cold. It's beyond refreshing. The above will make one mason jar's worth of smoothie.
