Struggling with Snacks?

Are you constantly struggling with snacks?

I thought it was time for me to whip up a quick list of ideas to get your brains thinking. With snacks, I'm referring to clean eating and nothing processed.

How easy is it to go to the cupboard and get that Museli bar or Packet of chips, place it in your bag to snack on whilst at work or school? How great is it that its prepared and all you have to do it eat it !

To be honest it's not that great at all.

Ever decided to take a second and refer to the label on the packet. Its jam packed full of an ingredient list, some of which you have never heard of? Am I correct?

Clean Eating is simple, and as I have mentioned before its not a diet. Its a lifestyle approach to aim for a healthy YOU!

Below I have gathered for you a simple list of clean eating snacking ideas.
  • Raw veggies with Hommus Dips or any homemade dips ( Beetroot, Spinach and Pinenut)
  • Apples
  • Oranges
  • Peaches
  • Nectarines
  • Strawberries
  • Kiwi
  • Plums
  • Edamame beans
  • Nuts
  • Clean eating crackers – Yes, they do exist!
  • Clean eating granola bars
  • Dried fruit
  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Cheese chunks
  • Pita pocket sandwiches stuffed with things your kids like and you’re comfy with
  • Cheese sticks
  • Cucumbers
  • Raisins
  • Mandarin oranges
  • Cucumber slices
I have also found some Images on how to get the children to being eating these healthy snacks. We all agree that children need to begin eating fresh foods and have exercise daily, this will  empower them to lead an active, happy and healthy lifestyle!

Dead Ants- Celery, Peanut Butter and Sultanas
Banana, Kiwi and Manderin
Carrot, Eggs and Lettuce

These were just a few simple ideas on how to get the kids eating healthy foods from a younger age.

I hope this little post has re-assured you that healthy snacks are easy too!
Take Care, T x
